Profile

Kevin Franz Jr. is a Class of 2028 student at Blue Valley Southwest High School and an active member of the Wolf Byte media production team. This season he has spent a lot of time on the sidelines covering BVSW games across multiple sports, as well as helping create a podcast for the Wolf Byte program.

Kevin is a credentialed photographer/videographer for Sporting KC, has covered several MNU basketball games and other local high school events, and is focused on growing in sports media — especially live sports photography, videography, and short-form content built for today’s digital platforms.

Outside of formal media work, Kevin is a student-athlete who loves basketball and staying connected to sports in any way he can—playing, watching film, or creating content. He enjoys experimenting with new camera angles, trying different perspectives, and learning new editing techniques to tell better stories about athletes, teams, and big moments on campus.
